1. Product introduction
This product is a white powder solid. Chemical formula Cao. Easy to absorb carbon dioxide and water from the air. It reacts with water to form calcium hydroxide (Ca (OH) 2) and generates a lot of heat, which is corrosive.
In calcium based drilling fluid, it is used to provide calcium ions, control the hydration and dispersion ability of clay and keep it in a moderately flocculated state. In addition, calcium oxide is the main source of calcium and alkalinity in oil-based drilling fluid.
